The Mountain Lions made it through to the semifinals with an 84-69 win over Frostburg State on Thursday. Abbie Smith led the team in scoring with a 30-point performance and narrowly missed a double-double with a team-leading nine rebounds, as well. Skylar Davidson and Jazz Blankenship each added 12 points to the scoreboard and Alexis Phillips rounded out the double-digit scorers with 10 points. The win improved the team's overall record to 17-12.

The Yellow Jackets took on Notre Dame College on Thursday night and earned a 77-64 victory to earn a spot in Saturday's semifinal game. The team was led by ZZ Russell who finished the game with 16 points. Shelby Harmeyer and Emyah Fortenberry each contributed 15 points to the scoreboard to help elevate the team to a win and extend its win streak to seven games.
West Virginia State and Concord met once during conference play this season and the game went in the Yellow Jackets' favor with a 72-63 win to bring the all-time record between the teams to 16-10 with Concord leading the series.
